Hutchesons’ welcomes visitors to the School throughout the year, but our annual Open Mornings offer an easy way to see what the school has to offer as you are guided round by pupil ambassadors.
Open Morning means that you will be able to talk to all staff much more freely because they are not actively teaching. Our annual Open Mornings are held at the Primary School on the first Saturday in October and at the Secondary School on the first Saturday in November.
October 3rd 10am-12.30pm
November 7th 10am-12.30pm
Visitors are taken on an informal and informative pupil-led guided tour of the School, with ample opportunity to talk to current pupils, Prefects, Subject and Class teachers and members of our Senior Leadership Team. The Rector will also give a short presentation.
Staff, including our Admissions Registrar Aileen Burns, will be on hand to discuss all aspects of the admissions process, including Fees and Bursaries. Advice is offered on transition, and the main entry points: Pre-School, P1, P4, P7 and S1. You will see much evidence of our wonderful academic and co-curricular provision.
