Silver DofE Award Presentation 2020

Silver DofE pupils welcomed Barry Fisher the National Director of DofE Scotland to our Silver Award Presentation Assembly in February.

He congratulated our 49 pupils on their significant achievement of completing their Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award by working on their Volunteering, Physical, Skill and Expedition sections for over 12 months. Pupils were presented with their certificate and badge.

Barry talked about what a fantastic charity DofE is that equips young people from all backgrounds with essential skills and teamwork.

DofE Awards are highly valued by employers who feel that the Award is an important way young people can demonstrate values and skills that could make them a great addition to the workforce. Barry also shared stories of how DofE is a personal journey of discovery.
