Around thirty S3 pupils took part and were directed by S5/S6 Drama students. Six extracts were performed, each showcasing an excellent variety of both Shakespeare and contemporary roles. The judge for the evening was former pupil Jimi Mitchell, a writer and director, who was very impressed at the talent on show!
He awarded the most outstanding performance to Aubrey, who played a very engaging Oberon, and the Best Group Performance to Elliot, Julia, Suki and Richa with their entertaining extract from ‘Always a Bridesmaid,’ by J Jones, N Hope and J Wooten.
The winning group was directed by S5 pupils Nikola and Anna.
The Drama Department congratulate everyone who took part in this fantastic showcase.
