Primary Speaking Competition 2019

The Kingarth Street pupils had a fabulous afternoon listening to the primary school’s best public speakers on Friday.

There were some excellent topics including: ‘Titanic’, ‘Queen Elizabeth I’ and ‘What makes a hero’ and they were entertained by one child from each house from each of the P4 -7 year groups.

The winner of the P4-5 shield was April (P4) speaking about her dad’s Ready Readers.

The two runners up for the P6-7 shield were P6 pupils Qais (My Wonderful Family) and Murray (My Bucket List) but this year’s worthy, and very entertaining winner, was Christopher (P6) speaking about his top three super-powers.
