Photography Workshop

Taking time out of her busy schedule, visual artist and photographer, Arpita Shah spent two afternoons with our S6 Higher Photography pupils showing them how to work in the studio environment.

Discussing her own practice, Arpita explored culture, heritage and identity with pupils through photography and film.

Tasked with creating a portrait of a staff member of their choice, the pupils have captured some wonderfully candid moments with their teachers.

As well-known German born American photo journalist Alfred Eisenstaedt said:“It is more important to click with people than to click the shutter.
