Our Junior Choir gave a fantastic performance on Friday night at the Glasgow Hospitals Christmas Concert – Young Lives Vs Cancer at the Royal Concert Hall.
Ninety-eight pupils from P4 to S2 took part and entertained the audience with Twelve Days of Christmas, Jay Althouse’s Bring on the Snow and Somewhere in my Memory, from the movie Home Alone.
The Young Lives Vs Cancer (formerly CLIC Sargent) concert returned to the city’s festive programme for the first time since 2019 and it was a fantastic night out for all the family.
The concert raised funds for Young Lives Vs Cancer, which provides much needed support to children and families facing a cancer diagnosis, including free accommodation, financial grants and emotional support.
Our pupils enjoyed performing in the city’s Royal Concert Hall to help raise funds for Young Lives Vs Cancer. A huge thank you to the Junior Choir and Primary music teacher Mrs Porter for putting in all the practice sessions required to make the performance such a success.
