Brainstorm, by Ned Glasier, Emily Lim and Company Three, followed a blueprint in which pupils added their own experiences to create a truly unique performance.
Armed with only an iPhone (a giant one at that) and a messy teenage bedroom, this was all the set needed to say to the audience: “Look at us”.
The performance involved pupil voices that shared an insight into their world and the challenges they face. The audience laughed, reminisced, and at times felt very nervous as the performers had them reflecting on their younger selves, reminding them how difficult it is to be a teenager in today’s world. It is after all not their fault… blame their brains!
Well done to all our S3 and S4 Drama Club pupils, our Drama Department, and everyone involved in creating this entertaining and emotive performance.
