A Spoonful of Children’s Musicals
The 2020 Junior Drama show was a fantastic event which took place in February.
The S1 and S2 Drama Club pupils performed ‘A Spoonful of Children’s Musicals’ with songs, dance numbers and acting extracts from many of the best loved and well-known children’s shows.
The pupils had been rehearsing since August and their hard work paid off with a three-night extravaganza in the Drama Studio Theatre at Beaton Road.
The show was rehearsed at lunchtimes, after-school, and weekends. The pupils learned the songs alongside the Music Department and senior musicians.
The commitment and confidence of the cast members was wonderful, and the pupils enjoyed learning all about how to put a show together.
